Chicken Plinko by Onlyplay is an eight-row egg-drop game with Bumpers, Golden Eggs, a Wheel of Fortune and a Jackpot Game offering up to 1,000x the triggering bet. Its published product RTP is 96.14%; the default demo rules specify 96.00%. Bonus purchases cost much more than one egg, and a Golden Egg adds collected Bumper rewards to its basket return. We recommend comparing the full stake debit with the settled award in the supplier demo before judging a large multiplier. Real-money online casino services cannot legally be offered to people in Australia.
Which Chicken Plinko is this?
Look for Onlyplay as the developer and Chicken Plinko as the title. Released on 27 November 2025, it belongs to Onlyplay’s Tap Games range. A hen drops eggs through a pyramid of pins into payout baskets. There is no road-crossing decision or cash-out point to time, as there is in a chicken-themed crash game.
| Item | Chicken Plinko |
|---|---|
| Board | Eight rows; one ordinary bet releases one egg |
| Volatility | Medium; this does not set a session loss limit |
| RTP | 96.14% product specification; 96.00% in the default demo rule set |
| Top advertised award | 1,000x the triggering bet, through the Jackpot Game |
| Mystery basket | Random 2x, 5x or 20x return |
| Purchased features | 30 Free Eggs, Wheel of Fortune and Jackpot Game |
The eight-row board has no selectable 8–16-row risk grid. If choosing rows and Low, Medium or High risk is your priority, compare BGaming’s classic Plinko. Chicken Plinko’s main decisions concern stake, pace and feature purchases.
Open the free demo and follow one egg
Launch the Onlyplay Chicken Plinko practice game in your browser. The demo uses virtual credits. The euro or dollar symbol on a practice balance does not establish an Australian-dollar cash stake or a withdrawal entitlement.
- Open Game info and Limits. Read the RTP, balance currency, available bets and maximum payout. Use the lowest selectable practice stake; do not translate a euro minimum into an AUD minimum.
- Keep Autoplay off. Place one ordinary bet, wait for the egg to settle and compare the balance debit with the credited return.
- Read the basket strip, including the rightmost Mystery basket. Watch whether the egg lands, breaks or misses the baskets.
- Watch a regular egg touch a Bumper. Its progress can increase without paying anything on that egg.
- Open the bonus shop without confirming a purchase. Compare the selected egg stake with the full Speed Up price, then close it before resuming ordinary drops.
On a phone, keep the stake control and confirmation button visible before tapping. The game treats certain taps near controls as button presses; on supported desktop devices, the spacebar can also start a round. Our free Plinko demo guide includes a separate educational board, whose classic probabilities do not reproduce Chicken Plinko’s bonus system.
Basket returns, broken eggs and wind
A regular basket pays the egg’s stake multiplied by its displayed number. The Mystery basket selects 2x, 5x or 20x. An egg that breaks or misses every basket loses its stake, unless that event awards a feature payout.
A credited return can still leave a loss. At an illustrative A$0.50 stake, a 0.2x basket returns A$0.10 and leaves a net loss of A$0.40. A 2x basket returns A$1 and leaves A$0.50 profit. Use the payout-table guide to distinguish returns from profit when comparing games.
The green funnels create updrafts and the red funnels create downdrafts in the animation. These wind effects do not change the final payout. Outcomes are determined by a random number generator. Counting left and right bounces on this animated board cannot establish the chance of a bonus, a broken egg or a 1,000x result; a simple binomial model would leave those events out.
Bumpers, Golden Eggs and the Bomb
There are two Bumpers, marked 25x and 50x. Each hit from a regular egg or blue Free Spin Egg adds 0.1x to the Bumper’s progress. The top Bumper first activates at 25x, then at each further 25x threshold; the bottom first activates at 50x, then at each further 50x threshold. An activated Bumper turns gold and becomes available for collection.
A Golden Egg appears randomly, requires a bet and never breaks. When it touches an activated Bumper, it collects that Bumper’s payable multiplier. Collected Bumper amounts and the landing-basket amount are added. Two payable 50x Bumpers followed by a 2x basket produce a 102x return. At a hypothetical A$0.50 egg stake, that is A$51 returned and A$50.50 profit. The Bumpers’ uncompleted progress towards their next activation thresholds remains after collection.
A Bomb collects all active Bumper multipliers without having to touch them. Its total also includes a random reward linked to the visible target baskets, a contribution affected by the eggs destroyed, and its own basket award. After settlement, the Bumper arrangement changes to a preset layout. A Bomb is therefore a separate payout event; multiplying its animation effects together does not reconstruct the award.
Wheel, Jackpot and 30 Free Eggs
Wheel of Fortune
A Battery from a broken egg can activate the wheel; the feature can also trigger randomly or be purchased. Its multiplier awards are 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x and 100x, alongside Free Eggs and entry to the Jackpot Game. The wheel spins automatically. Equal-looking sectors do not establish equal probabilities.
Jackpot Game
Entry can come from a random broken egg, a Lightning symbol, a wheel sector or a direct purchase. Lightning symbols increase the probability of entering the feature, but do not provide a drop count at which entry is guaranteed.
Choose one of three baskets to reveal a base coefficient from 5x to 100x. The bird supplies a further multiplier from 2x to 10x. The award uses the stake of the egg that triggered the feature, multiplied by both values. A 100x coefficient with a 10x bird multiplier produces 1,000x that stake. This is a multiplier prize, with no shared progressive jackpot pool.
30 Free Eggs
A large white egg breaks into 30 blue eggs. The feature can arrive randomly, through the wheel or through a purchase. Blue eggs can break and can build Bumper progress; they do not collect Bumper multipliers. Their awards use the feature’s bet value. The number 30 describes the eggs released, rather than a minimum return of 30 times the stake. For a purchased round, compare the combined settled award with the full shop debit.
Bonus-buy costs in AUD
The shop offers 30 Free Eggs at 30x, the Wheel of Fortune at 50x and the Jackpot Game at 200x the selected base bet. The full Speed Up amount is deducted when the purchase is confirmed. Prizes use the underlying bet value: paying 200x to enter the Jackpot Game does not make that purchase price the stake used for its prize multipliers.
| Selected base bet | 30 Free Eggs: 30x | Wheel: 50x | Jackpot: 200x |
|---|---|---|---|
| A$0.50 | A$15 | A$25 | A$100 |
| A$1 | A$30 | A$50 | A$200 |
| A$2 | A$60 | A$100 | A$400 |
With a base bet of A$0.50, buying the Jackpot Game costs A$100. A 100x feature award returns A$50, leaving a net loss of A$50 on that purchase; a 200x award returns A$100 and breaks even. The advertised 1,000x outcome returns A$500, leaving A$400 profit on the purchase. Buying entry guarantees access to the feature, not a profitable result. Confirm the displayed shop price before every purchase, especially after changing the base bet.
RTP and the cost of repeated drops
96.14% RTP corresponds to a 3.86% house edge; 96.00% corresponds to 4%. Use the RTP in the opened game’s rules for that configuration. Neither figure means a particular player receives that percentage of their deposit back, and neither establishes a separate RTP for each shop purchase.
For A$100 of ordinary-bet turnover, the corresponding theoretical loss is A$3.86 or A$4. A series of 200 ordinary drops at A$0.50 produces that A$100 turnover, excluding additional feature purchases and any further charged bets. Actual losses can consume the entire starting balance. Increasing the pace increases turnover without improving the expected return per dollar.
Autoplay starts at the selected stake, which cannot be changed during the run. Depending on the platform, a bonus can pause it, a selected stop condition can end it, or play can continue until stopped or the balance is insufficient. Check the actual menu before starting; an unlimited run has no planned spend ceiling. The Autoplay settings guide explains how round counts and stop conditions differ.
What players found hard to track
In the January 2026 Chicken Plinko contest discussion on AskGamblers, participants complained that overlapping eggs made individual wins difficult to capture. One player reported having no in-game history in their version; another explained that their casino’s log displayed profit after the initial stake rather than the total return. These are reports about particular interfaces, rather than a reason to expect every history screen to behave the same way.
For a readable demo record, release one egg, let all awards settle, then note its stake, credited return and final balance. For a purchased feature, include the entire purchase debit. A winning screenshot with a base-bet multiplier alone cannot show whether the purchase made a profit. Keep the round ID if a settled amount needs to be reconciled with an account log.
Australian access and where to start
The Interactive Gambling Act prohibits providers from offering real-money online casino services to people physically in Australia. An overseas licence, an AUD balance or an accessible Chicken Plinko lobby does not authorise that service. Our Australian legality guide explains the distinction between casino games and licensed wagering.
Start with the supplier’s virtual-credit demo, read its rules and follow a single egg before opening the bonus shop. Set a finite practice count and stop when it finishes; building Bumper progress does not guarantee that the next egg will collect it.
