Plinko 2 by BGaming adds paid movable multipliers, vortex respins and 2x or 4x bonus balls to an 8–16-row board. Its official FUN demo declares 98.6–99% RTP, while the product page advertises a rounded 99% and a maximum of 10,000x with purchased features. We recommend learning with one virtual ball and all extras off: enabling all three features doubles the base stake per ball, before any payout is credited.
Our review uses the provider’s rules, demo configuration and virtual-credit settlement records. We did not place real-money bets or test casino withdrawals. For Australian readers, a working demo does not establish lawful real-money access: ACMA lists online casinos among services prohibited from being offered to people in Australia.
For the football-themed edition with shirt respins, see our Football Plinko review and full feature costs.
Which Plinko 2 is this?
The game is Plinko 2, game ID Plinko2, released by BGaming on 8 January 2025. Match both title and supplier before opening a demo. Our classic BGaming Plinko review covers the earlier game; its payout strips and probability calculations should not be copied into this sequel.
| Setting | Plinko 2 |
|---|---|
| Peg rows | 8–16, selected through Lines |
| Risk | Low, Medium and High; the product page calls the middle level Normal |
| Ball quantity | 1–100 per selected batch |
| Modes | Manual and Auto; availability can be restricted by the operator’s licence requirements |
| RTP | 98.6–99% in the demo’s launch configuration |
| Maximum multiplier | 10,000x with purchased features |
| Provider’s volatility label | Low; selectable risk profiles still change the payout table |
| Demo stake range | 0.10–25 FUN base stake per ball; FUN is virtual currency |
BGaming also advertises a €250,000 maximum win. That euro figure does not establish an AUD payout cap. Read the loaded game’s currency-specific limits before multiplying a headline maximum by a stake.
What the three buy features do
Multiplier: movable 2x lines
Activating Multiplier places up to three movable 2x multiplier elements on the board. A ball passing through an element gains an additional multiplier applied to its win. The rules allow slight movement within the playing field. In our checked demo configuration, the feature costs 60% of the base stake extra per paid ball. Moving an element does not provide evidence of a profitable arrangement: the published rules do not supply probabilities for every placement.
Respin Chance, called One More Spin in the rules
This feature adds vortex portals in bottom cells. Landing in a portal awards a free spin retaining the multiplier from the initial drop. The checked demo charges 20% extra on the paid ball. “Free” describes the awarded follow-up; access to the chance costs money in a cash game. Do not count an animated return to the top as a separate purchased ball.
Multiplier Ball Chance
For another 20% of the base stake, this feature adds a chance of a 2x or 4x ball. It does not turn every ball into a 4x ball. In one checked demo settlement, a 1.00 FUN base bet cost 1.20 FUN; a 2x ball landing at 0.7x returned 1.40 FUN, leaving a 0.20 FUN net gain. That single result establishes no hit frequency.
Purchase features, quick spins and Auto can be unavailable under the licence requirements governing an operator. A missing feature does not prove you have opened the wrong game; check the title and help panel first.
Full stake costs in AUD
For the checked configuration, paid cost per ball = base stake × (1 + selected feature surcharges). The surcharges add together. Multiplier plus both chance features gives 1 + 0.60 + 0.20 + 0.20 = 2 times the base stake. Multiply that paid cost by the number of purchased balls to calculate batch exposure.
| Features enabled | Paid cost per ball | 20 paid balls | 100 paid balls |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | $0.20 | $4 | $20 |
| Respin Chance only | $0.24 | $4.80 | $24 |
| Multiplier Ball Chance only | $0.24 | $4.80 | $24 |
| Both chance features | $0.28 | $5.60 | $28 |
| Multiplier only | $0.32 | $6.40 | $32 |
| All three | $0.40 | $8 | $40 |
These are arithmetic examples, not verified AUD betting limits. We confirmed demo stake debits of 1.00 FUN without extras, 1.20 FUN with either chance feature and 2.00 FUN with all three. The demo client calculates the Multiplier surcharge as 0.60 times the base bet.
Net result = total credited return − full paid cost. For example, a $0.20 base bet with all features costs $0.40. If its final credited return is $0.30, the net result is a $0.10 loss, even though the return exceeds the base bet. At a $20 session budget, a 100-ball batch in that setup would require $40 in paid stakes if completed; start with one ball instead. Our bankroll guide explains how to set a loss limit and a separate turnover ceiling.
RTP, house edge and the probability trap
The official demo declares a theoretical return range of 98.6–99%. That corresponds to a 1–1.4% house edge. At $1,000 of total paid turnover, the corresponding theoretical expected loss is $10–$14. These figures describe long-run averages; they do not bound a session’s losses. Returned money staked again also counts towards turnover.
The public rules leave the RTP figures as template fields, and the demo launch configuration fills in the range. We have not verified an exact RTP for every combination of rows, risk and feature placement. Use the range for comparison and check the loaded help text for your configuration; do not label every possible setup exactly 99%.
Why classic left/right odds do not establish Plinko 2 odds
With 16 independent, equally likely left/right decisions, a pocket’s probability would be C(16,k) / 65,536. Applying that model to the Plinko 2 Low strip below produces a calculated RTP of 89.6915%, which does not reproduce the demo’s declared 98.6–99% range. This is a diagnostic calculation using a hypothetical probability model, not a measured RTP for the game.
The payout strip alone therefore cannot justify that model here. We do not quote a 1-in-65,536 edge-pocket probability or derive a chance of hitting 10,000x from the board animation. A valid calculation needs the actual outcome probabilities and feature rules. Our classic Plinko payout-table guide applies to the version identified there.
Base payout tables and the 10,000x claim
The demo supplies these edge-cell multipliers before purchased-feature effects. More rows change both the number of cells and their values; selecting High does not give every ball a high return.
| Rows | Low | Medium | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | 4x | 15x | 30x |
| 9 | 5x | 20x | 46x |
| 10 | 7x | 30x | 80x |
| 11 | 9x | 50x | 110x |
| 12 | 12x | 75x | 160x |
| 13 | 15x | 90x | 300x |
| 14 | 18x | 120x | 500x |
| 15 | 20x | 150x | 1,000x |
| 16 | 25x | 250x | 2,500x |

- Medium: 250, 40, 8, 3, 2, 1.5, 1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 8, 40, 250.

On 16-row High with no extras, a $0.20 base bet landing in the 0.1x centre cell returns $0.02, losing $0.18. The base edge value is 2,500x. BGaming’s rules explicitly connect the advertised 10,000x ceiling to purchased features; it is not a plain base pocket on this strip. We have not reproduced a maximum-win round or verified the full combination needed to reach it.
We would choose Low with extras off for the first demo comparison because its 16-row minimum pocket is 0.5x, versus 0.3x on Medium and 0.1x on High. This recommendation concerns the size of a losing pocket return; without verified pocket probabilities it does not establish a likelihood of profit.
How to use the official free demo
Open BGaming’s Plinko 2 FUN demo. It uses virtual credits and provides no cash winnings. We checked its configuration and virtual settlement responses; we have not benchmarked its mobile rendering or completed a device performance test.
- Confirm Plinko 2 and FUN. Read the information panel and stake limits. The checked demo allows a 0.10 FUN minimum base bet; that does not prove a 10-cent AUD minimum.
- Turn off purchase features, select Low, choose a row count and set one ball. Record the base bet and opening balance.
- Reconcile the result. Subtract the paid stake and add the credited return. Wait for settlement before changing settings.
- Enable one feature at a time, keeping the base bet fixed. Compare the full debit and inspect what the feature changes. Avoid interpreting a short run of outcomes as a test of RTP.
- Increase ball quantity only after calculating the whole batch cost. In Auto, check both the selected autorounds and ball count; use Stop to end the sequence and allow active rounds to settle before recording the balance.
On a phone, check that the feature charges, total stake and Stop control remain readable before starting Auto. If the provider demo is unavailable, our free learning simulator can explain basic payout accounting, but it does not reproduce Plinko 2’s feature maths.
Fairness checks and Australian access
BGaming’s rules describe a certified random number generator. That statement alone does not let a reader reproduce an individual result. We have not independently reconstructed a Plinko 2 outcome from revealed inputs, so we do not award it a provably fair label on the strength of these checks. Our provably fair guide explains the inputs and reproducible calculation such a claim requires.
ACMA warns that illegal offshore operators may withhold winnings and that Australian regulators cannot recover money for players. A supplier’s overseas licence does not establish an operator’s permission to offer online casino services to Australians. Our Australian gambling-law guide covers the local position; we do not recommend a real-money casino for this game.
